Barkeldine Farm Country Retreat has 2 residences, the Homestead, incorporating the Old Manager's Quarters(MQ), and the Cottage, located on the lower side of the Tennis/Pickleball court with adjacent saltwater swimming pool. The cottage is available for bookings.

This residence is home to cattle, donkeys, geese and an abundance of wildlife and you may be lucky to spot the occasional wallaby, echidna or turtle. Miniature frogs can be found down by the creek or in the shady foliage near the Homestead.

Barkeldine Cottage is self-catering and accommodates from 2- 11 guests. It has 3 separate bedrooms - Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and single bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bunk bed. Bedroom 3 has 4 single beds.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled within one (1) month prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee is incurred with no refunds. However, if we are able to rebook the property a refund maybe offered. Cancellation outside one (1) month prior to arrival a $120 cancellation fee will be charged, and all remaining deposit will be refunded.

House Rules

Please note the property relies on tank water for drinking, washing, showers, toilets and filling the pool. Dam water is used for outside taps and is not suitable for drinking. Mobile reception is limited - signals can usually be received on the top of Boori Boori Hill near the picnic table.

Strictly NO parties, functions, excessive noise, or additional visitors allowed and no pets (unless authorised) or smoking permitted. We ask you to be considerate short-term neighbours and adhere our quiet time between 10pm and 7am. Your rights and our expectations are outlined in “Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry NSW”. Please review our full T&C's prior to booking.
